SailFreeGPS is a comprehensive navigation app designed specifically for sailors. It offers a range of features to enhance your sailing experience and improve your navigation skills.

• Displays current location, course (COG), speed (SOG), max speed, trip distance, speed average, and magnetic compass.
• Provides COG and SOG history (over a 6-hour period) to help you analyze the trim effect on your sails.
• Filters GPS information for increased accuracy by averaging the last set of measurements.
• Allows you to share your position, COG, and SOG with your friends.
• Assists in Man Overboard maneuver (MOB) by storing the location and guiding you back to it.
• Displays your track on Google Maps over a 24-hour period.
• Facilitates regatta participation with a countdown timer and departure line feature.
• Enables you to store up to 8 waypoints and activate a GOTO function with ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) computation.
• Allows you to save/load tracks in GPX/KML file formats.
• Calculates distance and heading information for improved navigation.
• Compatible with all types of boats, including motor and sailboats.
• Newly added features include an anchor alarm and course alarm for added safety.

To support the developer and access additional features, you can subscribe to the premium version. The premium version does not contain ads and includes the following features:

GPS INFO Tab:

• Double-clicking on the speed will reset trip, max, and average speed.
• Long-clicking on the course will display the compass.
• Double-clicking on coordinates will toggle the position display.

Graph Tab:

• Double-clicking on the COG graph will switch to full-screen mode.

MOB Tab:

• Displays the relative bearing of the MOB.
• Displays tack angles.
• Double-clicking on the graph will switch to full-screen mode.

Waypoint Tab:

• Supports up to 200 waypoints.
• Displays the relative bearing of waypoints.
• Displays tack angles.
• Double-clicking on the graph will switch to full-screen mode.

Map Tab:

• Displays SOG and COG (speed & course).
• The track segments are displayed based on your speed.

Anchor Alarm:

• The anchor area can be defined as a polygon, and its shape can be adjusted.

Regatta Tab:

• The "Gun Button" rounds seconds to the nearest minute.

• e.g., If the time is 4:03, it will display as 4:00, or if it's 3:58, it will display as 4:00.

• Allows you to enter the exact departure time down to the second.
• Displays the time required to reach the line, taking into account your current speed and course.
• Suggests the ideal speed needed to cross the line exactly at 0:00 on the same course.

Settings Tab:

• Allows you to switch to reverse color mode (white on black background).
• Provides the option to select a Hybrid map.
• You can choose the duration used to calculate the speed scale of your track: last 5 minutes, last 15 minutes, or the entire track.
• Allows you to set your preferred tack angle value, which will be displayed on the MOB and WAYPOINT tabs.

Before exiting the app, you will be prompted to save your track for future reference.
